Adaptation and planning of modern bulk material plants in existing infrastructure
Problem definition
We planned the construction of eight mixer lines in two existing halls. The challenge: The existing planning for lines 1–4 from the first building had to be efficiently transferred to the second building and adapted to the structural conditions there – including steel construction, equipment, and piping.
Our solution
UNISON supported Zeppelin with the planning of lines 5–8 in the second building. The existing planning was revised and adapted to the new conditions. Our services included:
- Adaptation of steel construction and plant equipment
- Planning of the complete piping layout
- 3D laser scan of both existing buildings for accurate data acquisition and collision avoidance
Through the targeted use of existing planning and individual adaptation to the second building, smooth and economical implementation in the existing building was ensured.
